Mobile Devices Extend Brand Experiences

IKEA has always been a leader in interactive content strategies – and this is yet another example. The 2013 IKEA catalogue has been developed to allow consumers to use their smartphone or tablet to bring their preferred content to life. By downloading the catalogue app, users can unlock video content, stories and additional images – extending involvement with the IKEA brand. Smart, no?

It’s imperative for brands to develop smart mobile strategies that augment the consumer experience. After all, what better way to satisfy curiosity then with a device virtually attached to one’s self?
