When you spend time with Donna it is impossible not to be infected by her energy.  She’ll bowl you over with her passion and chutzpah and win you over with her compassion and integrity.

It’s that energy, and her unending desire to “blow things up”’, that made it possible for Donna to build a successful media business, where one did not exist in the region, at the ripe old age of 27.  It is this same energy that compels Donna to lead with empathy and an understanding that you are only as good as your team.

Donna is a self-admitted serial multi-tasker.  This behavior manifests itself in many ways including, but certainly not limited to, her driving.  Just ask Ben – bcameron@timespacemedia.com – he’ll be happy to give you some hair-raising examples.

MacGyver to the core, Donna is not so good at taking no for an answer.  Just like her counterpart Richard Dean Anderson, Donna uses everyday objects to perform extraordinary feats – in her case usually towards finding a solution to a problem or a linking human behavior to a motivation.

We at Time + Space believe it is Donna’s good fortune to have a long view and a short memory.  It does mean that things get ‘blown up’ more often, but in this day and age this is definitely a blessing, not a curse!  And no matter where the industry is going, Donna is going to be on the leading edge of it.

In 1988, Donna spotted a market opportunity for independent media counsel in Nova Scotia and launched Time + Space Media.

Donna is a graduate of Acadia University holding a BBA with a major in Marketing.  She is an active member of her community and currently sits on the Board of Directors for Phoenix Youth Services and Ward 5 Community Centre.

She is past director of the Halifax Chamber of Commerce having served on the Executive Committee as Vice Chair Marketing & Communications.  She is a past president of the Halifax Progress Club and the National Advertising Benevolent Society, as well as a past member of the Board of Trustees and Executive Committee for the IWK Health Center Foundation.
